Empowering the Future of DX
The J79H Technology Partnership
J79H is not just a callsign; it is a year-long technological mission (2026-2027) set in the rugged, tropical heart of the Caribbean. I am inviting world-class manufacturers to join us as Official Technology Partners, putting your flagship equipment at the forefront of the global amateur radio stage.
Dominica (The Nature Island) offers the ultimate proving ground: extreme humidity, salt-mist environments, and the strategic geography of the West Indies. This is where your gear moves from the bench to the legacy.
I AM NOT SEEKING FINANCIAL CONTRIBUTIONS.
The Strategic Pillars: What I am Seeking
I am looking for exclusive partnerships in three critical technology areas. In return, we offer a 365-day marketing window, real-world performance data, and global visibility.
1. The Powerhouse: Portable Linear Amplification
Portable Power & Efficiency: Persistent Caribbean Presence
To cut through the global pile-ups from a remote island, power is non-negotiable—but portability is key.
The Goal: I am seeking a lightweight, high-efficiency HF Linear Amplifier.
The Challenge: It must withstand sustained, high-duty-cycle operation (CW/Digital) within a high-humidity tropical environment.
Opportunity: Showcase your amp’s thermal management and “rugged-portable” credentials to the global DX community.
2. The Eyes & Ears: High-Gain Radiation Systems
Portable & Base Antenna :
To cut through the global pile-ups from a remote island, power is non-negotiable—but portability is key.
Dominica’s volcanic terrain demands antennas that are both practical to deploy and lethal in performance.
The Goal: We require a portable Hexbeam or a high-gain Multiband Vertical system.
The Challenge: Rapid assembly for Base WWFF activations vs. long-term durability against Atlantic salt-spray for our base operations.
Opportunity: Prove your antenna’s gain-to-weight ratio and mechanical integrity in a real-world “Nature Island” deployment.
3. The Vision: The Dominica Remote SDR Initiative
Portable & Base Antenna :
Our crown jewel project is the establishment of a Permanent Remote Base Station in Dominica. We want the world to be able to “visit” J7 through your technology.
The Goal: A flagship SDR Transceiver with native Remote capabilities (e.g., FlexRadio, SunSDR2 DX or equivalent).
The Mission: This station will remain active in our secure environment even when the operator is off-island, providing a 24/7 presence for the global amateur community.
Opportunity: Become the “Brain” of the J79H project. This is the ultimate showcase for SDR stability, low-latency remote networking, and high-end receiver performance.
Why Partner with J79H?
Beyond a DXpedition: A Persistent Caribbean Presence
Long-Term Exposure: Unlike a 10-day trip, J79H spans 2026 and 2027. Your brand stays in the logs and on the screens for the long haul.
The “Home Base” Status: Your equipment will be the “Official Gear of J79H”, featured in every field report, video update, and technical blog entry.
Global QSL Branding: Official sponsor logos will be integrated into our premium QSL cards (via M0OXO) and our high-traffic QRZ.com profile.
Field-Testing Data: Receive detailed feedback and “action shots” of your equipment performing in one of the most geographically dramatic locations on Earth.
